Fresh Servant Group invests in Sweden and strengthens Bosphorus’ organisation

Bosphorus AB, part of Fresh Servant Group, is strengthening its organisation through new key recruitments. Bosphorus already has nearly 900 retailers in Sweden, and the goal is to double sales in the coming years while improving and developing operations in purchasing, supply chain, assortment development and quality. The appointments support the company’s next phase of growth and strengthen Fresh Servant Group’s long-term investment in the Swedish market for fresh ready meals.

Bosphorus produces ready-made meals and salads at its modern production facility in Tumba, Sweden.

Fresh Servant sees significant growth potential in Sweden within the category of fresh ready meals. Bosphorus, which has been part of the Group since 2025, has built a strong position in the Mälardalen region with high-quality, tasty meal solutions that meet everyday needs. The company’s organisation is now being strengthened so that Bosphorus’ growth can be built even more systematically, scalably and profitably.

To support continued development, Eyüp Yilmaz has been appointed Chief Operating Officer of Bosphorus. He will start in his role on 13 August and will be responsible for purchasing, production, logistics, maintenance, quality and administration, including HR, IT and finance. Eyüp has more than 20 years of experience in production, logistics and supply chain management in the food industry, as well as in leading extensive development and transformation projects.

“Bosphorus combines strong expertise, quality, innovation and a clear ambition to develop. In my role, I want to build on the company’s strengths and, together with the employees, create the conditions for sustainable and profitable growth,” says Eyüp Yilmaz.

Mats Hallstensson has been appointed Chief Commercial Officer of Bosphorus and started in his role on 10 August. He is responsible for Bosphorus’ commercial operations, including sales, customers, category and assortment development, brands and marketing, as well as commercial processes. Mats brings broad experience in commercial leadership in the food industry, grocery retail and foodservice, as well as in developing customer relationships and driving growth.

“Bosphorus’ assortment feels highly relevant for today’s market. Tasty, fresh and easily accessible meal solutions respond well to the needs of modern consumers. I look forward to building growth together with colleagues and customers,” says Mats Hallstensson.

Bosphorus is also strengthening its production management with Oskar Karlsson as the new Production Manager. He took up his role on 3 August and has extensive experience in food, meal solutions and production-related development.

“I am very happy and motivated about my new role. I look forward to getting to know the operations in depth and working closely with the teams to develop planning, flows and ways of working together. My ambition is to contribute my experience in leadership, operations and continuous improvement, and together with the team create an even stronger and more efficient production,” says Oskar Karlsson.

Fresh Servant’s goal is to develop Bosphorus over the long term while respecting the company’s own strengths. The Swedish market offers interesting opportunities, and Bosphorus’ current position in the Mälardalen region provides a strong foundation for broader growth. With the new key appointments, Bosphorus’ operational, commercial and production-related expertise will be strengthened, and future development will be built on experience, customer insight, business development and the strong commitment of the personnel.
