Fresh Servant’s Code of Conduct is based upon our values and mission and describes how we want to achieve our vision.
Our mission “Always something new – Always something good” is about what we offer, about being innovative and bringing new products to the market that are good for consumers. At the same time, for our employees, it says that it is important to learn and innovate, but it is also important to look after ourselves and each other. Let’s help each other and do good together.
Our vision to be our customers’ trusted 1st choice in the foodservice industry, where wellbeing and making everyday life easier are combined with food and food solutions – in Finland and the surrounding areas says that we are a customer-centric company. We are active in the workplace with the goal of having satisfied customers who trust us. We make products and food solutions that are good for consumers and make their everyday lives easier.
Our values guide us to do the right thing and make the right decisions in our everyday lives. We expect all of our staff to follow them in their decisions and actions. Fresh Servant’s values are responsibility, an inspiring atmosphere, succeeding together and health and well-being.
RESPONSIBILITY
We comply with laws and regulations. We do not tolerate violations of the law and we do not encourage anyone to violate existing legislation. We expect our partners to comply with laws and regulations.
We handle personal data and other confidential company information with care and protect it. For example, we will only publish pictures of a production process or a person with permission.
We comply with applicable legislation and collective agreements on pay and employment relations, ensuring that pay is determined according to the requirements of the job and the employee’s performance, and promoting fair and equal treatment for all employees.
The employer regularly engages in constructive dialogue with the employee representative. We respect the freedom of association of employees.
Customer relationships are of paramount importance to us and our business is based on trust. We handle customer information with care and do not pass on confidential customer information to third parties.
We treat the company’s tangible and intangible assets and financial resources with care. We protect company assets from damage and destruction, misuse, theft and embezzlement.
We recognise our responsibility for the environment and seek to minimise our environmental impact, for example in our waste management and choice of packaging materials. We handle raw materials, processed materials and products efficiently, minimising waste and energy consumption.
We strive for good financial performance through legal and honest means, and provide shareholders with necessary and truthful information about our operations. To the best of our
knowledge, the information we provide is accurate and reported in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
AN INSPIRING ATMOSPHERE
We respect all human rights and will not allow any part of them to be violated. We do not tolerate human trafficking, forced labour or work that puts a person in a situation of forced labour. We do not allow child labour. We pay special attention to the safety of our young employees (15-17 years old), their working hours and breaks.
We value diversity, treat everyone equally and do not discriminate against anyone. We do not tolerate harassment, racism or bullying. At Fresh, everyone must be treated with respect and good manners. We respect each other and each other’s opinions.
Fresh’s internal communication and communication with stakeholders is based upon open dialogue and factual information.
SUCCEEDING TOGETHER
We work together for the benefit of Fresh and do everything we can to help achieve our goals. We value each other’s contributions and ensure that everyone receives adequate introduction for their work. We take care of our employees’ competences, for example through training, and offer opportunities for career change.
We do not comment publicly in a negative way on the company, its staff or its products. Nor will we, as an employee of Fresh, go out of our way to comment on negative public feedback about the company. The CEO and his or her designees are responsible for the company’s external communications.
We are committed to building long-term relationships with customers, suppliers and other stakeholders. We do not accept or give bribes to influence important decisions. All our activities are based on maintaining excellent security of supply and delivering orders to our customers on time and with good product quality.
HEALTH AND WELL-BEING
We take care of the well-being of our staff and their safety at work. We work together to ensure a safe workplace and production facility, and use agreed protective equipment in our work.
By preventing work-related illnesses, we ensure that our staff are fit for work. In the event of work capability challenges, we actively seek solutions to support and restore work ability.
We develop and manufacture healthy products that promote natural energy and well-being, and ensure product safety and authenticity.
